Burbank Plum

BURBANK
(Z5, late August) A red skinned Japanese variety with sweet clingstone flesh. Made popular by nurseryman and plant breeder Luther Burbank. Keeps 2-4 weeks. Ripens end of August. Shiro is a recommended pollinator.

Damson

DAMSON
(Z5, late September) Small round fruit with a deep blue/purple skin and spicey yellow flesh. Superb for cooking, preserving, and making jam. Blooms late avoiding early frosts and is self-fertile.

Early Golden Plum

EARLY GOLDEN
(Z5, late July) Early Golden is a very popular Japanese plum. The fruit is very sweet, medium-sized, and has a yellow flesh with red blush. Low susceptibility to black knot.

FRIAR
(Z5, late September) This unique Japanese plum variety boasts black skin! The fruit is large and oval-shaped with sweet, juicy, orange flesh and a small, freestone pit. A vigorous and productive tree. Self-fertile.

Greengage Plum

GREENGAGE
(Z4, late August) Greengages are European plums which have been popular for centuries as high-quality dessert fruit. They are greenish-yellow and round with juicy, rich flesh. The growth habit is compact, and the trees are self-pollinating. An excellent choice for the home garden.

KRIKON DAMSON
(Z3) The Krikon damson is a very cold-hardy variety of European damson. The small fruit is unsuitable for fresh eating, but excellent for cooking and preserving.

(Z5, late September) A medium-sized blue European plum with yellow flesh. Excellent for drying.

(Z4, late August) Mount Royal is a Canadian classic of excellent flavour and good cold-hardiness. The fruit is blue-skinned with sweet yellow flesh.

(Z5, late August) Ozark Premier is a large, bright red Japanese plum prized for its high-quality fresh-eating flavour. Shiro is a recommended pollinator.

(Z5, late September) A large, oval European plum with dark blue skin and yellow-orange flesh. The flavour is pleasant and good for fresh eating and cooking. Stanley is a recommended pollinator.

(Z3, mid August) A very cold-hardy Japanese plum. Medium size with greenish-yellow skin.

SANTA ROSA
(Z5, late August) This high-quality Japanese plum was popularized by nurseryman and plant breeder Luther Burbank over a century ago. The fruit are large and reddish-purple with a firm yellow flesh. Partially self-pollinating and an excellent pollinator for other Japanese varieties.

Shiro Plum

SHIRO
(Z5) An early Japanese variety, ripening in early August. Skin is yellow with juicy yellow flesh. Keeps 2-4 weeks. Only slight susceptibility to black knot. Burbank is a recommended pollinator.

(Z5, mid September) Blue skinned European prune type with yellow flesh. Bears at a young age. Self fertile.

(Z4, Early September) American plum variety with dark red-blue skin and yellow freestone flesh. It is good for fresh eating or preserving. Self fertile.

WANETA
(Z3, Early September) Waneta is an extremely cold hardy American-Japanese hybrid plum. The fruit is large with red skin and decent fresh eating quality. It is also excellent for cooking or canning. Trees begin to bear early in life and crop heavily. This is one of the best cold-hardy plums available.

YAKIMA
(Z4) Yakima is a European type with oblong red fruit and firm yellow flesh suitable for both fresh eating and preserving. It is considerably cold hardy.
